The aim of our group is to extend the hand of friendship within the community the Church Family and out into the community. Our programme consists of:- Devotional evenings, Demonstrations, Slide Shows and Coffee Evenings (a time to chat). We raise money for charity and give our support to Church activities. Everyone is welcome. Come and join us for friendship and fun. Womens’ Fellowship Tuesday afternoons at 2.30pm The present Womens’ Fellowship evolved in 1991, when the afternoon ladies class and the evening Womens’ Fellowship joined together. Both groups had their roots in the beginnings of Methodism and in the history of Wigton Road Methodist Church. They shared the same ideals: to worship and serve God and to share fellowship with each other. Our afternoons are primarily devotional with a variety of invited speakers. Each year we have a visit from a representative of Save the Children. We have supported this charity for many years through the sale of Christmas cards, calendars and gifts. We enjoy preparing Shoe Boxes in November for Operation Christmas Child. We organise a Christmas / New Year Lunch and an outing in the summer months. We extend a warm welcome to everyone where friendship and fellowship can be shared. See alsoLuncheon ClubShort Mat Bowling Badminton
