HOLIDAY CLUB – MISSION RESCUE

24th  – 28th OCTOBER 2011

During the half term school holiday, Wigton Road Methodist Church held the annual holiday club for children aged 5 – 11 years. It was held Monday to Friday mornings 10.00am – noon and an average of twenty eight children attended daily, They were looked after by fifteen leaders, who entertained them with exercises, DVD, biblical story, chorus singing with actions, crafts, games and drama.

All children had to be registered and parental consent obtained

The children enjoyed a super five days, the leaders were shattered afterwards, but it was worth while seeing the smiles on the children’s faces each day.

The children also had drinks, cookies and sweets each day.
