 Prayer of the Day
Reverend David Firth comes to Carlisle from Dundee on 1st September 2010 and will have Pastoral Oversight of the Methodist Churches of Wigton Road Carlisle, Monkhill, Newtown, and Solway. He joins Reverend David Hasson and Reverend Janet Preston in the Carlisle Circuit.

Winter Warmer / Summer Lite Bite

 

Wednesdays between Noon and 1.30pm

(not during August)

 

During the winter months come along and enjoy a Bowl of Soup, a Roll and tea or coffee and in the summer time tuck into a freshly prepared tasty sandwich with  your drink.

All completely free!  

 

 

Luncheon Club

 

Tuesdays  at 1.00pm   

 

Lunch Club was started in 1996 to provide meal and companionship especially for those from the local neighbourhood and Church who live alone.

A main course and sweet, followed by tea of coffee  is provided  for a small charge of £2.

We meet on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month, except at Christmas time and during the summer.

A warm welcome is extended to all to share in fellowship with one another round the table.
